All candidates will receive confirmation of candidacy while the Board reviews the candidates for fit and schedules interviews.
New board members will be confirmed and on-boarded by the end of January 2018.
The President shall be the principal executive officer of the Chapter and shall in general supervise and have charge of all of the affairs of chapter pursuant to the direction and oversight of the Board of Directors. Key responsibilities include chairing all board meetings, playing a leading role in fundraising activities, providing leadership to the Board, ensuring the Board adheres to its bylaws, and participating as a vital part of the board leadership. The term of the President is 1 year, with an additional 1 year of service in the Immediate Past President role.
Director of Events
The Director of Events shall be responsible for developing and executing the annual events strategy and detailed event plans; working in partnership with fellow Board Directors, in alignment with the Global Association and local chapter mission and within the established chapter-wide budget; the Director of Events shall perform such other duties as from time to time may be assigned by the President or by the Board of Directors.
Marketing and Communications Director
The Marketing and Communications Director has charge and custody for all communications for the chapter; the Marketing and Communications Director shall perform such other duties as from time to time may be assigned by the President or by the Board of Directors. The term of the Marketing and Communications Director is two years.
Regional Chairs: North Bay and Silicon Valley
Regional Chairs shall be responsible for strategy, logistics, execution and hosting of regional events; ensure content is aligned with ACMP Northern California direction and mission; provide metrics of success/adopt lessons learned and align with past events; review with Director of Events and peer chairs prior to presenting to board; establish a communication process to publish events, sign up process, follow up with event’s attendees; participate in meetings with Director of Events and regional chair’s peers.
